I am a veteran hotelier with over 25 years of experience in the hotel and tourism industry. I began my career with Canadian Pacific Hotels (Fairmont Hotels and Resorts) in Toronto in 1974. Joined Marriot International Hotels and Resorts in 1981 in Washington DC and Starwood Hotels & Resorts as Manager of the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Bangkok, Thailand in 1986.
I have held Hotel General Manager postings in Brunei, Bali, Jeddah, Tokyo, Kyoto, and Singapore as Vice President, Six Sigma, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific Division. I was appointed General Manager, The Westin Bund Center Shanghai in October 2003.
