Introduction and Life Experience in China:-Myself Vipul Joshi, an Indian, 27 yrs old. I am working in China for last two and half year as a Lecturer. Presently I am working in Fujian province. During this period I travel from North China to South China i.e from Beijing, Henan, Jiangxi, Fujian ,Guangdong, Yunnan. I had a great life experience in China which I enjoy the most in my life, and now I want to share it with you. It was 23rd March 2005 when I arrived in Luoyang, small city of Henan province near to Zhengzhou the capital of Henan. It was the first city in China where I started my life as a Computer Science Lecturer in Henan University of Science and Technology. Being a foreigner in a small Chinese city/town is quite an experience. Wherever you go, whatever you do, you¡¯re a spectacle. Everything is difficult for you because you cannot understand Chinese and the common people cannot speak or understand english. If you can speak any Chinese, your audience will be amazed and enthralled. Frequently being the center of attention of a group of non-English-speaking people can really spur one to improve one¡¯s Chinese. It was the same happen with me, whether it is a restaurant, my university, shopping malls and everywhere. Whatever it is, but I receive so much of love and affection from my students, their parents and even the local public that I never felt home sick. I consider China as my second home. China is a vast country with a wide diversity of ethnic groups and eating habits, which I came to know when I travel from North to South China. In general, however, the Chinese recognize the relationship of diet to good health, and believe that the ideal diet is one that stresses both diversity and balance. When I talk about Chinese cuisine my mouth start watering, I have had varieties of food here, since I came China I started loving food, before I had not much interest in food. Some of them which I enjoy most is Gombaojiding, Hot Pot, Egg Plant, Ri ben Dou fu, Fried Fish, and many more, sorry I don¡¯t remember their Chinese name. I spent one of the most beautiful time of my life here and still want to continue my life in China, the people, the environment, the culture and the love and affection which I receive here do not let me leave this country. There is lot to talk about it but may be space do not allow me to write more. So I would like to say that for me China is unique among travel destinations. A journey this colossus of a country is a mind-boggling encounter with the most populous and perhaps most culturally idiosyncratic nation on earth. I Love China. Why I should be selected as torchbearer?:- It will be great honor for me to become one of the participants to hold an Olympic torch. As far as the reason is concerned, its because as I describe above that by profession I am Computer Science Lecturer imparting training to University students. So directly or indirectly I am giving education to Chinese students not only about Computer studies but also about the experiences of my life, the experience which I achieve during my China stay, knowledge including national and international level. These students when grow up will give their assistance in China¡¯s progress at different levels, so indirectly I am assisting in China¡¯s growth and progress. I am also fulfilling those duties which every Chinese must do for their country, so being a foreigner I think I am a liable person to be selected as a torchbearer. This was all about me. I hope I can be one of those lucky persons who are going to be a part of Beijing Olympic 2008. Wishing that this Olympic leave a great impression all over the world. Thank You Vipul Joshi
