| Yes, it's natural to have an income gap between the rural and urban guys. In China, however, this gap is too huge, at too alarming level. The government should act to increase the rural folks' incomes and provide services and subsidies to them -- medicare services and old-aged pension, this would help ease the tension and reduce the risks of social disorder and instability. The government should also try to ensure a growing trend for urban folks' incomes. |
