拿破仑说过，中国是一头沉睡的狮子，当这头睡狮醒来时，世界都会为之发抖。中国这头狮子已经醒了，但这是一只和平的、可亲的、文明的狮子。
(1)International Business Times网络版中有这么一段话，或许对大家有所启发："Napoleon Bonaparte once said that China 'is a sleeping lion and when China wakes up, the world will shake'. In fact, the lion of China has awoken, but what the world sees now, is a peaceful, amiable, civilised lion."
(2)拿破仑的原话出处不详，我们只看到汉语版，只得自己译。本次译文有很多人使用了shake、tremble，显然，有些读者对tremble的词性与用法，不太清楚。Tremble虽与shake是近义词，却永远是不及物动词，不可以用在被动语态中；其英文释义为A. to shake in a way that you cannot control, especially because you are very nervous, excited, frightened, etc: My legs were trembling with fear. B. to shake slightly: leaves trembling in the breeze. C. to be very worried or frightened: I trembled at the thought of having to make a speech. 也有读者使用stun与shock，在用法上没错，但与原文相去甚远了。
(3)本次题面不难，译文的情况却令人堪忧。有太多的语法问题了。主要是对单词的词性不了解，时态把握不准确。

评分(满分10分)：9分 对于汉译英工作而言，查证是一项不可或缺的功夫。或英式英语、或美式英语，首尾一致也实属不易。译者在第二句中使用it，也讲得过去。睡狮也罢，醒狮也罢，终归是猛兽，故而用but转折。
